JP Morgan Round the Island Race
30th June 2012

Whether you are an experienced sailor or new to sailing this is THE race to participate in, its popularity surpasses itself as sailors come back year after year. The magnificent spectacle of over 1500 yachts heading down the Needles and round the Isle of Wight is unforgettable. Each year it offer new surprises, with extraordinary yachts of all sizes and shapes battle it out for the coveted Gold Roman Bowl and handicap prizes.

Olympics Sailing Events
29th July - 11th Aug 2012
Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour will be the venue for the Olympic and Paralympics Sailing Competitions. Weymouth and Portland provides some of the best natural sailing waters in the UK.  Mastery over ever-changing conditions on open water requires skill and nerve.  14 days of competition that should offer plenty of excitement and drama in the beautiful but testing waters of Weymouth Bay.

Cowes Week
11th - 18th August 2012

Cowes Week has been running since 1826 and heralds the longest running regular regatta in the World. Every year the event sees an influx of around 900 competing yachts in over 35 classes. The regatta attracts competitors from many different countries adding to an international flavour including royalty.

Paralympic Sailing
1st Sept - 6th Sept 2012

A total of 80 Athletes will be sailing for gold in the waters of Weymouth Bay at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The Little Britain Challenge Cup
6th - 9th September 2012

This is the largest annual corporate yachting regatta in Europe. It now attracts over 230 entries exclusively within the construction industry and raises an incredible amount of money for Jubilee and Cirdan Sailing Trusts.

The Rolex Fastnet
Starts 11th August 2013
The Rolex Fastnet Race is the most famous and challenging of the Royal Ocean Racing Club races. Since its establishment in 1925 the Fastnet Race has provided thousands of sailors with the ultimate challenge of rounding the Fastnet Rock. Racing hard for over 600 miles for 5 days, from Cowes to the infamous rock off Southern Ireland and back to Plymouth, against over 200 yachts, in all weather conditions is what gives this race its tough reputation.
